Dr. Cappuccio has over 20 years research experience in Organic Chemistry. He has devoted research efforts to the development of chemical sensors and trace analysis of persistent organic pollutants, as well as isolation, characterization, and modification of natural products and macromolecules. No formal cannabis training on campus, however the fundamental skills and techniques learned in Organic Chemistry coursework and research translate directly to the cannabis industry where many Humboldt graduates have found employment in the extraction and analysis of cannabis compounds.
